Born and raised in California, I went through the early years of my life obsessed with sports. I spent meaningful amounts of time living in southern, central, and northern California. This resulted in an odd array of favorite teams. I proudly call myself a Los Angeles Dodgers, Sacramento Kings, Arizona Cardinals fan. I am fairly certain that I am the only one in existence. I have always enjoyed writing, but only under certain conditions. The English language was built for creativity. That belief virtually alienated me from every English teacher I encountered during my education. I was unable to follow their rules and therefore was incapable of writing appropriately.
It was not until after college that I realized I had the potential to become a paid writer. I started as a contributing writer for North Valley Magazine in Phoenix, Arizona and then as a sportswriter for Fox Sports’ Scout.com. Eventually, it is my goal to turn sports writing into a career. In order for that to happen I need to hone my skills. I started this website as a way to provide an outlet for my writings and hopefully entertain those who happen to read the articles. My work is not syndicated nor sponsored. Everything I put on this site is an honest opinion. Some may find it dull or uninspired. Others may find it interesting and unique. Either way, thanks for taking the time.
